I started Pizzo Media because I wanted to help businesses create a genuine connection with their clients and customers. I create content that fosters trust and helps audiences understand the value a business provides. My previous career in User Experience design has given me the ability to listen to what customers need, understand their pain points, and identify what is useful to them. This is a key part of my strategy. Video content alone does not produce better results for your business. It requires creating something that is useful to your customer, adds value to their lives, and puts them at ease with choosing your business. Instead of following the latest trends on various social media apps, I draw inspiration from my clients to create content that embodies them and resonates with their audience.

Crafting stories that connect clients with their audience.

Bi-Rite Market

Bi-Rite Market in San Francisco wanted to showcase their new Polk Street store, products, customer service, and community. The video production spanned two shoot days: one for employee interviews and another to capture footage of the store and team.

Tracing Waves

It was a thrill working with San Francisco textile and mixed-media artist Diane DallasKidd on her promotional documentary video. FAQS

  • I specialize in documentary-style storytelling. That includes testimonial videos, brand stories, promotional content, explainer and educational videos, and event coverage. All of my work is designed to feel authentic and connect with your audience in a way that builds trust.

  • Timelines vary based on scope. A simple testimonial or event recap can often be completed within a few weeks. Larger projects, like brand documentaries or multi-video campaigns, may take a few months from pre-production through final delivery. I always build a clear schedule with you so there are no surprises.

  • The best place to start is with a conversation about your goals and audience. At Pizzo Media, I’ll walk you through what kind of content will actually move the needle for your business, then provide a detailed proposal that outlines the scope, timeline, and costs. Even if you’re not sure exactly what type of video you need, we’ll help you figure it out.

  • Yes. If your project requires filming in public locations or landmarks around San Francisco or the Bay Area, I’ll guide you through the permit process and secure the approvals needed. I’m familiar with the local regulations and can save you time and headaches.

  • The cost of video production in San Francisco can vary depending on the size and scope of your project. Everything from the style of video to the number of crew members, shoot days, and post-production needs will affect the final budget.

Here’s a general breakdown to help you understand where your project might fall:

    Basic Production — $1,000 to $3,500

This range usually covers simple, lean, affordable productions like:

    • Short testimonial videos

    • Interview-based videos

    • Social media content or event recaps

These projects often involve a small crew and minimal equipment, with quick turnarounds. In most cases, we’ll also deliver shorter video cutdowns for social media alongside the main piece.

    Mid-Range Production — $4,000 to $10,000

This is the sweet spot for many of our clients. Examples include:

    • Branded mini-documentaries

    • Promotional business videos

    • Explainer or educational content

    • Multi-video packages for marketing campaigns

These projects typically include more pre-production planning, multiple shoot days, and a dedicated post-production process with editing, color grading, music, and sound design. Deliverables often include both the main video and supporting shorts optimized for different platforms.

    High-End Production — $10,000+

    Larger-scale productions may include:

    • Commercial spots

    • Cinematic brand stories

    • Complex multi-location shoots

    • Projects requiring advanced gear like drones, specialty cameras, or motion graphics

These productions involve bigger crews, more specialized roles, higher-end equipment, and extensive post-production.

    Factors That Influence Cost

    • Project Scope: A short testimonial requires fewer resources than a multi-day brand film.

    • Length of the Video: Longer videos often mean more shoot days and editing time.

    • Crew Size: Larger productions need directors, cinematographers, sound engineers, and more.

    • Equipment: Specialized gear such as drones or 4K cinema cameras adds to cost.

    • Locations & Permits: San Francisco filming permits and location rentals may be required.

    • Post-Production: Editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics can expand the budget.
